Basma Al Misbahi is a writer and illustrator. She holds a Master's degree in Busniess Administration from the University of Strathclyde, Scotland. She worked in human resources and strategic research before devoting herself to writing, drawing, and cultural activities. She founded and manages the Alif..Ya Book Club and has several publications, including 'Indama Tas-har al-Shams (When the Sun does not Sleep) and Man al-Fa'iz (Who is the Winner?) for children, three educational books for young people from the series Kayf Tu'assis? (How to Establish?), two translated comic books: Shakl al-Afkar (The Shape of Ideas) and Sa'akum 'Alaik min Maktabatik (I will Judge You from your Library). Her latest publication is a creative notebook titled Musawwada (Draft).
